Leela Unrefined Shea Butter: What Is Shea Butter? Shea butter is a skin superfood that comes from the seeds of the fruit of the Shea (Karite) tree and that is naturally rich in vitamins A, E and F. It offers UV protection (it is SPF ~6) and provides the skin with essential fatty acids and the nutrients necessary for collagen production.

How to use shea butter:

• Use it directly! Take a little in the palm of your hand and rub your hands to make the shea butter softer (shea butter becomes liquid at a high temperature, about 37 degrees.) Apply it to the skin. If you are afraid of a greasy feeling (shea butter is very nourishing) then the amount should be smaller. When used before going to bed, the effect is better and the shea butter absorbs quickly, but there are still a few minutes to make you feel greasy.

Skin care products:

• dosage 3-15%, suitable for anti-aging products, night cream, sensitive skin and dry skin care products, winter products, hand cream, foot cream, body lotion baby products, shaving comfort Synovial fluid and other products; Sunscreen products: dosage of 3-25%, suitable for sun protection products and after-sun repair products;

Make-up products:

Food items in Africa are controlled by women only, not men, so all profits made from the harvesting and sale of shea butter goes to the women. Shea butter is very thick, even when it is heated it is a heavier weight butter. Shea butter products retain their texture and skin hydration very well as it is said that shea is about 60% fat. This makes shea butter an excellent ingredient for creating soap bars and for creating body moisturizers.
